What makes our saddles special?

Affordable doesn't mean bad – and our saddles prove it!

We have created saddles that combine comfort with a reasonable price. Every detail is well thought out, and everything is done with one goal — your horse's and your own well-being.

Carefully considered rider position

Proper seat involves the ability to create internal hip rotation, if you are sitting right now, try turning your legs inward so that your knees come closer together and your heels go outward—doesn't that remind you of the correct seat?

Many saddles use too much padding in the flap, creating a barrier for the knee, which cannot bend. In such saddles, it is difficult to create the correct seat and place the leg under the hips. Our flap does not include excessive padding, it features a thoughtfully designed knee block that does not push the knee out but keeps the thigh in place. A moderately deep seat helps balance the rider, as the main support points are created—the knee block helps fix the leg and the back of the saddle helps keep the back in place and prevents sliding, this saddle design helps the person engage the back and abdominal muscles, which further stabilizes the rider.

Minimal ''twist'' (saddle narrowing between the legs)

because female pelvis anatomically differs from male pelvis:

The twist of the saddle is crucial in determining this type of “feeling pulled apart” coming up. Because of the female pelvic structure and our muscles, most women will need a fairly narrow, upside-down u shaped twist. Because of the way female muscles (quads and hamstrings) are – very round – there is less space in the upper inner thigh area than for a man – where these same muscles are much flatter and more at the front and back than at the sides. Female hip bones are articulated differently, which also leads to issues of hip pain depending on the seat of the saddle.- schleese.com/saddle-fit-twist

A shape created for a wide horse– not adapted, but made!

Our saddle shape is NOT just adapted to a standard tree. It is designed from the very beginning specifically for a wide horse, taking into account its: spinal canal width, back curvature, shoulder movement, and of course, withers characteristics! Our saddles are based on the ''HOOP'' tree, which is much wider and does not pinch the horse's withers and shoulders. The saddle has minimal, but present, ''rock'' to create proper weight distribution on the horse's back – to prevent the ''bridge'' effect, which very negatively affects the horse's comfort and movement.

They truly have wide panels — not just on paper

Many "wide" saddles are actually only slightly wider than standard. We go a step further — our panels are specially designed so that they lie wide and evenly on the horse's back. This provides extra stability for the horse, the rider, and the saddle, and reduces pinpoint pressure, which is a great benefit of a wide surface.

Excellent padding – not too soft, not too hard

Our padding is not overloaded with materials. The panels are even, breathable, and shaped to the horse's form, not just for visual effect. Therefore, the horse doesn't have to struggle with heat, pain, or pressure. Wide horses usually have a great natural padding, so less additional saddle padding helps you feel closer to your horse.

High quality wool and leather combination

Our saddles are filled with natural wool — not synthetic fillers, which are difficult for saddle makers to adjust. Wool provides better air circulation, adapts to the shape of the horse, is easy to change, and does not deteriorate in the long term and is the best shock absorber!

We use good quality thick leather that does not crack or fade, as often happens with cheap alternative saddles.

Fiberglass tree – light but durable

Metal trees are heavy. Plastic ones — often break. Wooden ones can be damaged by moisture/deform. We use a fiberglass tree, which is light but very durable and reinforced with metal! This helps distribute the weight evenly and does not lose its shape.

Careful supervision at every step

Our saddles are not mass-produced without supervision. Each batch is inspected, and we receive constant reports on symmetry, frame quality, stitching, and filling—this is a MANDATORY requirement from the manufacturers.

We do not hide the fact that the saddles are made in India; this is one of the aspects that allows us to offer a low price (India is the third largest saddle manufacturer in the world—https://leatherindia.org/saddlery-harness-ride-in-style/).

Stainless steel parts — because safety and appearance matters

Every metal component is made of stainless steel. This means that buckles will not become brittle, rust, or break even in humid weather conditions.

Your horse will be grateful — and so will you!

You don't have to choose between price and quality. With our saddles, you get both.
